DDG was founded in 1991 and has been Farmington's Independently owned and operated bookstore for the last 26 years. We love books, and believe passionately in a sustainable local community. We have been recognized nationally with The 2014 WNBA Pannell Award honoring bookstores that enhance their communities by bringing exceptional creativity to foster a love of reading in their young patrons, and the 2015 Maine School Board Association Business Friend of Education Award DDG regularly partners with UMF, local schools, and non profit organizations to enrich the cultural life of Farmington. The Mt. Blue RSD Wish Lists offer people a chance to support their school libraries by purchasing much needed titles for them. All purchases further support the library in that 20% of proceeds go towards the library as well. Just click on the school Wish List below that you wish to explore. You can choose to pay online or at the store, but be sure to select under the I Would Like To Pick This Order Up At The Store under the Pick Up Options as shown below. Be sure to tell us how you would like the donation's book plate to read by entering it in the comments area, for example "from The Borger Family" as shown below.
